Gentofte Hospital

Architect: Arkitektfirmaet C.F Møller

Contractor: BGB

Gentofte Hospital's eight-shaped building is originally from 1927 built in a neo classic style.

The new buildings are located in pairs as atrium houses. Glass corridors are linking several sites of the new buildings with existing ones.

Gyptone acoustic ceilings have been chosen for all loft space in the new treatment building. Due to hygiene requirements Gyptone Base has been chosen in all operating rooms. In wards and corridors Gyptone Point 11 are chosen.

All rooms and facilities are kept in bright colours, and the light is the common room design feature.

The choice of materials for the design of the new building has also taken the possibility of recycling and the life cycle aspects into account.
