Walsall College was built in September 2009, and it took 18 months and 300 workers to complete more than 100 class rooms.

Atrium appears to be a futuristic entrance to a five-storey building which was led by developers Shepherd Construction. The building includes in its interior three learning platforms, on top of each other, to be used for teaching. There are more than 100 class rooms in the new university, which are all equipped with the latest technology.

Den decorative ceiling is specially designed with noise isolation to stop the echo effect and measures are implemented to make the region as energy efficient as possible. As much as 3,500 sqm Gyptone BIG acoustic ceiling tiles went into the atrium.
