Glasgow Transport Museum

Architect: Zaha Hadid Architects

Contractor: BAM and Gillespie's

This project is a stunning example of architectural innovation. Built on a redundant dock, and pinnacle to the regeneration of the water-front area; the Glasgow Museum of Transport is located on the banks of the River Clyde and is the new home for Glasgow’s world-class Transport and Technology Collection, including over 3,000 objects.

The challenge of the project was to create a firstclass, purpose-built visitors’ centre to provide a unique museum experience for the public with an events' plaza.
